Casey Kuhlman accepted the call as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church on April 6, 2016. Born and raised in the Seattle area, he was converted at a church camp at the age of 16. He served as an assistant to Pastor Rob Watkins at Calvary Baptist Church during his years in Bible college and continued on staff for another year after his graduation. Ordained to the Gospel ministry in 2012, he served for three years as a church planter in Seattle before becoming an interim assistant pastor at Westside Baptist Church in Bremerton, Washington, for over a year. He married his wife, Becky, in 2008 and they have been blessed with four children; Levi, Kelsey, Courtney, and Caleb. Pastor Kuhlman’s passion is to proclaim a pure gospel, to generate awe of the glory and grace of God, and to awaken believers to spiritual fervency and personal godliness.
Former Navy Hospital Corpsman, Pastor Christian Torres received his commission in the Army Chaplain Candidate Program in 2011. His ordination into the gospel ministry was recognized at Life Point Baptist Church, Apple Valley, California, in 2014. Pastor Christian holds a Bachelor’s in Religious Education (West Coast Baptist College), a Master’s in Ministry (Temple Baptist Seminary) and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (Piedmont International University). As an Army Reserve Chaplain, he is endorsed by Foundations Baptist Fellowship International. Pastor Torres answered the call to be Associate Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Yucca Valley, California, in the spring of 2017. He has started a Bible Study Group in the Marine Corps Base, Twentynine Palms, California, and currently heading the Teens of Calvary class. Pastor Christian is married to Brittany, and they have four adorable girls (Kyleigh, Kloeigh, Kelleigh, and Karleigh).
