Calvary Baptist Church of Yucca Valley has been serving the High Desert towns of Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, 29 Palms, and Morongo Valley for over 60 years!

Head west on CA-62, 29 Palms Hwy. Turn Right onto Old Woman Springs Rd/CA-247. Turn left onto Sunnyslope Dr (after Circle K gas station). Turn Right onto Joshua Ln. Calvary Baptist will be on the left.
From the Lower Desert (Palm Springs, Morongo Valley):
Head east on CA-62, 29 Palms Hwy. There will be two hills/grades before entering Yucca Valley. Turn Left onto Old Woman Springs Rd/CA-247. Turn left onto Sunnyslope Dr (after Circle K gas station). Turn Right onto Joshua Ln. Calvary Baptist will be on the left.

Pastor Casey utilizes the King James Version of the Bible (KJV) in his teaching and preaching. However, we recognize that there are other faithful and reliable translations of the Bible that can help us understand and apply God's truth to our lives.

Adult Sunday School is an opportunity for believers to take a deeper dive into elements of doctrine, belief, and Biblical study through reading and open discussion of various books and resources.
Children’s Sunday School follows a defined curriculum in which teachers share stories and lessons from God’s Word. We are currently using curriculum from Answers in Genesis.

Calvary Baptist worship services include the singing of traditional congregational hymns with piano accompaniment.

If you have the time to prepare for a visit, we always encourage you to wear your “Sunday best,” whatever that means to you. Our members tend to dress modestly, with women in dresses and men in dress shirts.

During services, we offer loving on-site childcare in our nursery for infants and toddlers up to 3 years-old.

There is no expectation for our guests to contribute to the offering, but if you’re so compelled, there are collections during the Sunday services.
